This reinforces the role of mandibular
distraction osteogenesis as a treatment
modality when evaluating patients with OSA
who have retruded mandibles. Further studies
at a larger scale are warranted to form
predictive norms for determining the extent and
anatomic level of airway improvement in
individual patients.
