The Journal Source of Data 3024 Children of age group 5-10 years, studying in schools and residing in villages such as Panjain, Kau, Thachi, Reyada, Dobi, Barot, Bir, Dharamsala. Method of examination Oral examination was undertaken by a single examiner and the records were noted by the same person throughout the study. Oral Examination Subjects were examined on anupright chair in adequate natural daylight and dental caries was detected. Result In the total no. of children under screening for Dental Caries which was 3024, in the first group of children in BCS which had 290 children, 112 had caries present in more than one tooth. In the second group of TCV1, out of 1300 children, 716 had caries present in more than one tooth. In the third group of TCV2, out of 850 children, 504 had caries present in more than one tooth.
