Because dental offices are geographically
distributed across the community, dentists can
serve as an excellent surveillance resource,
they can detect characteristic intraoral or
cutaneous lesions if they are present and report
them to public health authority (5).In addition
the ADA recommends that a core set of
competencies related to a bioterrorism
preparedness be incorporated to the curriculum
of all dental schools, and that all dentists should
receive at least (6).
Biological warfare is the use of bio weapons

Conclusion
With the advancements in science and
technology, man has started deploying these
gifts of science in vile ways. Bioterrorism
possess potential threat towards a developing
country like India. Keeping this in mind, we took
initiation to evaluate the level of knowledge of a
physician if in case he is in a position to access
the country towards the mass disaster. This
study is just initial steps to a much greener side
to make awareness to the physicians to make
the world a better place to live.
Acknoweledgement
We would like to show our gratitude to our
honourable chairman, Dean and the Principal of
the Institution for enabling us to conduct this
survey. A special mention to the statistician for
helping us out with the sample size and also the
statistical analysis.
A high response rate was also shown on the
ability of the hospital to accommodate victims of
bio war. The response rate of the study
forcefully implicates high need of bioterrorism
training among physicians.
The drawback of our study is that the sample
population was cramped to a particular district
of a state which would not be analogous to the
other parts of the country. We could have done
something differently in our study such as
Knowledge of other medical professionals,
medical nurses, and dental professionals would
have been studied upon as a combined effort is
