Conclusion
In general, the values obtained from this study
for Punjabis closely resembled the data of
Caucasian population but not fully as there
were variations in the mesiodistal dimensions of
few teeth. Mesiodistal dimensions of maxillary
lateral incisor, second premolar, and first molar
were smaller and that of mandibular second
premolar were larger in Punjabi subjects. It can
be suggested that Bolton values can not be
used in Punjabi population.
