The hospital
With camera in hand, I went out towards
the hospital. After having to do a thousand tricks to get through the security
systems without being seen, I came upon
the raw reality. Some rooms had been
repaired, but not all the entire building,
as the journalist had announced during
the midday news. The laundry was not
done, despite the fact it is essential for
keeping service in optimal condition.
The preemie room had unfinished walls
and the spaces for the air conditioning
units were empty. There is construction
debris and tools all over the hospital, as

if they part of the decoration. Never
mind that an uncovered gurney I found
as soon as I went up to the first second
floor, which was almost calling me to
continue the battle against the lies. How
is it possible for the mass media to cover
something that is not yet remotely finished? It is in very bad taste to say things
to the whole country via TV that are not
true, as thousands and thousands of residents of Manzanillo and neighboring
