IL3 Eco-Drive Passenger Lift Performance Why it is beneficial to have an IL3 Eco-Drive lift on low travel buildings:  The conventional (1m/s) lift takes time to accelerate and decelerate and is unlikely to reach full speed on low travel projects  The time taken on an IL3 Eco-Drive lift is only marginally longer than a conventional lift  The IL3 Eco-Drive lift uses 35% less electricity and can achieve two BREEAM credits  The IL3 Eco-Drive 0.5m/s option is available on single phase, 240-volt and three phase, 415-volt in 6-person (450kg), 8-person (630kg) and 13-person* (1000kg) lifts Conventional (1m/s) Eco-Drive This illustrates how the faster lift would spend little time at full speed before having to decelerate.
