hopes he would push to the rock clusters where I sat waiting.
The rocks acted as a funnel between the two basins and the evidence of a major crossing point was left all around me in the powdered dry dirt of the desert. Lee’ s image appeared on the horizon below the buck and just as planned he became nervous and to my amazement headed in my direction! As the antelope buck closed the distance between him and me, I realized he was going to be a few draws to my right. I quickly grabbed my bow and using the rocks as cover I closed the gap. Stopping in the cover of a huge boulder I knocked an arrow. Seconds later he appeared, 42 yards! I settled in with my pin and released the arrow. A change of mindset and determination proved that the hard way was the right way for me. I want to thank Lee and Cody for their help.
