About an hour passed and I spotted several deer below me working their way through the thick buck brush. I counted seven bucks and bringing up the rear was the boy we had been watching. My arrow was knocked and I was ready. A two point was the first to get to me and I ranged him at 25 yards. A tall four point was second in line. A few of the bucks had moved right feeding out of my range. The four point stopped and began to eat on a small bush I ranged him at 44 yards. It was now or never I looked across and seen my partners watching and I looked down at the larger buck way down the hill. This was my shot and this bow hunt was about to strike a victory. I sank my 40 yard pin on the deer and sent one his way. When I reached my partners they felt the same sense of victory I did. They watched the whole thing. I want to say thanks to Lee, Beau and Dusty for all their help and thanks for helping me fuel my passion.
