prevailed . With a grin on my face , and a punched tag in my pocket , I drove home to meet my wife . She joined in my excitement as she met me in the driveway and she told me she had a big dinner waiting for me . What a sweetheart ! We went inside and enjoyed a warm meal she had made for us to eat together . I felt like I was on cloud nine . Chelsie helped take my photos outside in our front yard and helped me quarter it up to be hung in the garage . My first whitetail on the last day of the hunt turned into one of my most memorable hunting trips . I am thankful I was lucky enough and was in the right place at the right time to harvest a deer , and have some meat for the winter . Thanks be to my wife Chelsie for supporting me in my obsession and for making the best tasting dinner ever .
