prevailed. With a grin on my face, and a punched tag in my pocket, I drove home to meet my wife. She joined in my excitement as she met me in the driveway and she told me she had a big dinner waiting for me. What a sweetheart! We went inside and enjoyed a warm meal she had made for us to eat together. I felt like I was on cloud nine. Chelsie helped take my photos outside in our front yard and helped me quarter it up to be hung in the garage. My first whitetail on the last day of the hunt turned into one of my most memorable hunting trips. I am thankful I was lucky enough and was in the right place at the right time to harvest a deer, and have some meat for the winter. Thanks be to my wife Chelsie for supporting me in my obsession and for making the best tasting dinner ever. Also thanks to KUIU ' s lightweight clothing and Vortex Optics for making my hunts successful this fall.
