SERVICE LEARNING

Service learning at ICS is a learning strategy that allows students to have agency to connect with and contribute to the community through positive and meaningful actions . It allows students to meet learning outcomes , grow personally , and develop a sense of social responsibility through real-world application working with communities .
Service learning happens in all divisions throughout the year as after school activities , classroom projects , and CAS requirements . Many service groups are multi-year commitments that are the embodiment of our vision , being ‘ our best with Africa and our world ’, working alongside local and rural peers .

STUDENT CLUBS

Student-organized club activities are a vital part of campus life and an important extension of the classroom . Student clubs vary from social to athletic to professional . Clubs at ICS provide opportunities for students to participate in activities , interact with peers in a supervised setting , and form relationships with adults .
A variety of clubs and activities are available for students to pursue a wide range of interests , including Student Council , Drama , Model United Nations , National Honor Society , Women ’ s Night organizers , and others .
There are many ways at ICS to get involved , work collaboratively with peers , and contribute to our communities .
