Located in Abando, Bilbao, Spain as spectacular art museum opened in 1997 which becomes an iconic building for the city. Temporary exhibitions and large-format works have a place in a gallery of about 30 m. wide and nearly 130 m. long, free of columns, located on the volume that passes under the La Salve Bridge.

Designed by the Architect Frank Gehry, and details of the steel fabrication and erection concept for the structure are described, as well as the key engineering and analysis studies that were performed. H. Lyenger, L. Novak, R. Sinn and J. Zils

The building is built with load-bearing walls and ceilings, which have an internal structure of metal rods that form grids with triangles. Catia software was used to determine the number of bars required in each location, as well as the bars positions and orientations
