Born and raised in the Southeast Area of Our Nation's Capitol (District of Columbia) and also in both Oxon Hill and Fort Washington Maryland (Prince Georges County). She was born on November 13th and is a proud member of the "40" and Over Club well seasoned with life experiences. At 38, Kimberly left her Hometown and migrated South to Savannah Georgia along with her Husband Mario (D.C.Danga) a Godson and 6 of their 9 children from a blended family, after a 10 year invitation by her younger brother Haywood Jr. (GUD) both filling a request to have her family and his live closer to continue the strong family bond after he left home as part of the military and to finally pursue their musical career goals together.

Kimberly began singing at the tender ages of 3 & 4, singing for her parents and many family friends to Artist like Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Phoebe Snow , Patti Labelle and Deniece Williams with her first microphone, a orange carrot-shaped Bugs Bunny Edition while standing in her Living Room decorated with Psychedelic Lights of Red and Blue. At 7 she dazzled a congregation of 300 as she sung her first public solo "Somebody Bigger Than You & I" bringing everyone to their feet and not a dry eye in the place. Raised in a Musically Open-Minded environment she widened her musical taste to Artist like Steely Dan, Rob Stewart, The Doobie Brothers and Eric Clapton, but mostly patterned herself after Phyllis Hyman,Tremaine Hawkins & Jean Carne later in her teen years studying Leontyne Price and performing Opera selections at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC for our U.S. Senators and Congressman receiving a Standing Ovation.

At 12 she had a unexpected opportunity to sing a Duet with a young man whom was performing with his Family Quartet and is now known from the R & B group JODECI. At 17 she was the Opening Act for The Gospel Great Shirley Caesar. Kimberly had the opportunity to participate in pageants in her very late teens as Miss Black Teenage World Washington DC 1988 and Miss Fort Washington Maryland 1990 landing her as a finalist and 3rd runner up to the World Title earning her 6 College Scholarships. She was also a Debutante presented as a Young Woman introduced into Society. In the working world, she had careers as a Certified Medical Assistant, Nursing, Office Management/Practice Administrator, and an Educator/Elementary School Teacher. Kimberly is the Owner and Founder of a Small Business "Its Your Big Day Wedding & Event Planning Service" since 1992, and was a Notary Public & Tax Preparer for over 10 years. She has a degree in Business Administration and Education, currently receiving her degree in Biblical Studies as a result of recently accepting a call on her life in Ministry.

At 9 Kimberly received intensive training in Piano and Organ, later playing the Flute in the school band and learning the Basics of the Bass Guitar in her late 20's. The G.U.D. Project Vol. 1 is the first album she has appeared on and is gearing toward her own solo album in the near future. Kimberly is a Songwriter, Composer, Vocalist and Poet with a wide genre of Gospel, R & B, Jazz, Pop, Country and Rock and vocal range of C-1 to C-5, & 1-2 octaves under Mariah Carey and Minnie Riperton. She served many churches in the D.C. Area as Music Director and Minister of Music, now currently the Director of her church Youth Choir and a member of the Praise & Worship Team.

She enjoys all type of music including but not limited to Mary Mary, Goapele, The Clark Sisters, Adele, Mary J Blige, Tye Tribbett ,Kirk Franklin, Amber Bullock & recently met and fell in love with the music of Gospel Rap Artist IV Conerly. As a wife, mother and grandmother she loves family and cooking from the soul.
