They each bare a piece of history, occupy a portion of culture and translate the world and our place in it. When I was asked to come on board at Iconic Magazine, I was struck by the strength of the title. That word, iconic, carries a tremendous load. By definition, whatever is labeled such represents a certain entity. From its founding, by Seneca Hinds, the magazine has consistently been representative of the one true icon—Jesus Christ. That will never change. As the magazine enters a new phase in design and content, my prayer is that each page, each word, does just that. How? By studying, knowing Him, seeking His heart, discovering new truths of His life and love here on earth and the promises He has made for the hereafter. What did we find? Jesus was the living, breathing manifestation of love. Love that is patient, kind. Love that doesn’t discriminate. Love that defies death. Love that forgives me. And you. It’s a love worthy of worship, praise, honor and reverence.
