Shadrach
Shadrach is the youngest son of
the late legend and internationally
renowned preacher and singers Rev.
Cleophus and Bertha Robinson, Sr. He
showed an interest in music at an early
age and his destiny was realized by
those around him. It was very evident
that his talent is a gift from God.
Shadrach graduated from Webster
University in 1996. He made the Dean’s
List and received a scholarship as one
of the most promising freshman in his
field of study. As a result of his ability
and achievement, he was selected for
the dual degree program in which he
received his Bachelor’s and Masters

Degree in Jazz studies.
Shadrach is a devoted and proud
father (Christopher, Me’Shach and
Ke’Oria). He sees his family as his
primary ministry and feels that they
enhance his ministry by being a
symbol of the love between Christ
and the church.
Shadrach is an ordained minister
and has been preaching for thirtytwo years. He is currently serving
as leader/teacher of the Friendship
Baptist Church. In his unique ministry,
he has taken every aspect of his life
and used it to be a blessing to the
body of Christ.
Shadrach has traveled extensively for
many years preaching, singing and playing
nationally and internationally. He made
his debut recording at the age of thirteen
entitled, “Living For You.” His second
release was entitled, “I Won’t Worry No
More.” The title song was also viewed in
video format with national exposure. Since
then, he has composed and performed on
several recordings with his late father, Rev.
Cleophus Robinson, Sr., his brother, Rev.
Cleophus Robinson, Jr. He has also written
for other nationally acclaimed artists such
as Lillian Lily, Brian Wilson, The Pilgrim
Jubilee’s, Dorothy Norwood, The Mississippi
Mass Choir, among countless others
that have positively impacted the music
industry.
As a father, minister, songwriter, singer and
musician Shadrach plans to continue using
the gifts that God has given him to spread
the eternal message of love and hope to our
dying world which is found in Jesus Christ.
