Title: Impossibilities: Lies We Believe!
Have you ever looked at a situation and thought to yourself “God, this is impossible?” Perhaps, there is something that you have been believing for, for a very long time and God keeps reminding you of his promise, but you keep reminding him of the time (the length of the wait).
Destiny is powerful, it is the fulfillment of God’s plan and purpose for your life. If you’ve ever noticed, your destiny realistically has always been an impossibility. Take a moment to look back, and reflect over your life. Look at all the patterns, old habits, destructive sins, strongholds, lies, disease, and every other bondage that you have been delivered from. Just the fact, that you made it out of all those things, was an impossibility at that time, but look at how over time, God has changed these things?
How can God take someone so far from his heart, his ways, his truth, and then make them his child? And make it seem like, none of those things ever took place? Only a God who is trained in making impossibilities possible can do that. How can God take someone who willingly participates in sin (death) and make them a person of life (righteousness)?
Only a God who is qualified can do that. For an impossibility, is just God saying “I’m possible! Anything you believe in me, it’s possible. The plan I created for you, it’s possible because I am possible of it!”
God is never unaware of anything we face, he is never shocked by the depth and endless abyss of heart matters and situations that this world can create. God is aware of everything, everyday, at every moment. In fact, he already knew what our choices would be, how we would react, how we would perceive him, and so much more. If God can change your life, your heart, your walk in things of the past that you also deemed impossibles, why is he unable to do the same thing now for the desires he put in your heart? The truth is that he is able, he’s always been able, but we have to rest in that.
Disappointments, Hardships, Realities, Hurts, Pains, Betrayals, and Strongholds, all create hurt and if you are not careful, you will build a wall of things you believe God can do and things you believe God won’t do! When you deal with impossibilities, it’s not that it is really impossible, it’s just that you have believe that God won’t do it. You build and develop the lie that “God, won’t do this for me, so it’s impossible!”
Well, I’m here to discredit and destroy that lie. If God showed it to you, gave you the vision, and it’s in his will, it is possible, in fact, it’s already done. It exists in the future. You have an appointment with that moment in your destiny. God doesn't give you vision for nothing, he doesn’t give you desires in your heart, that he intentionally plans to never do, that is not his character. The God we serve does not taunt us with desires that he never plans to perform. The God we serve does not enjoy watching us hurt. In fact, that is not his character. That’s opposite of his character, that’s characteristic of the enemy.
The devil enjoys lying to you, he enjoys watching you suffer, he enjoys watching you walk around, being upset with God. When in reality, he created the lie, created life situations to reinforce the lie, which separates you from the love of God, which builds a wall of unbelief, which hinders Gods ability to move freely in that area in your life. So, in truth, the devil creates a false lie of impossibility, and when we believe his lie, we give it life, we speak it into existence, we create the lie and give it a foundation to live.
Don’t believe the lie. Impossibilities are always possible with the God who says “I am possible”.
