Vehicle: Currents Magazine: We decided to use Currents Magazine for our print
placement. In order to appeal to the fashion-conscious crowd at Pepperdine, we chose
to advertise in the on-campus magazine. Readers of this bi-yearly publication are
primarily undergraduate students, but professors, graduate students, Malibu residents,
and local creative professionals contribute to the total number of impressions. It is also
available digitally, which will give it even further coverage.
Design: Readers are first drawn in through the question “What makes the Pinnacle
Girl? From there, they see each style type and a descriptor behind which indicates
something that is unique to their interests. Their clothing is in stark contrast to the
