USJ’ s Internship and Career Office( ICO)
💡 MISSION
ICO provides help and support to USJ students in their personal and professional development, through workshops and seminars, events and company visits, and other initiatives.
💼 EVENTS & COMPANY VISITS
ICO events and visits allow students to benefit from learning more about different career paths and organizations! Past visits include IPIM, DSEJ, Caritas, CEM, the Legislative Council in Hong Kong, among others.
💡 OBJECTIVES
� Be the bridge between USJ students and the business world; � Provide valuable knowledge and skills to prepare students for the job searching process and the transition to employment or further study; � Support students’ personal and professional development.

💼 CAREER DAY
Career Day is an annual USJ event that allows students to explore internship and career opportunities, as well as further study options at USJ or abroad. Students can network and come in close contact with potential employers.
💼 JOB OPPORTUNITIES & INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS
Besides being able to apply for our Student Ambassador program, where students can work for a USJ Faculty or Administrative department, students and alumni will be regularly notified of job and internship opportunities. Employers are welcome to let us know of any job of volunteering opportunities that are suitable for our students!
💼 PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ADVICE
Students can book one-on-one meetings to discuss career paths, job opportunities, further study options in Macau or abroad, skill development or any other career-related matter.
💼 WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS
ICO organizes workshops and seminars throughout the year to aid students’ development. Past topics include LinkedIn, Career Planning, CV and interview skills, Communication in the Workplace, among others.
💼 ONLINE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Every month, ICO publishes on the ICO webpage a new issue with work- and career-related articles, interviews and tips that will help students, Faculty and staff have a deeper insight into the world of work. Students are welcome to send ICO any articles or projects they would like to have published!
