Coming up in Preach in the Autumn
The next issue of Preach magazine ( 36 ) is on the life-giving theme of Sabbath Rest . In an increasingly anxious world , what does God say about work , stillness , and rest , and how do we respond ? Can we resist the urge to work continually ? As leaders and preachers , how can we communicate and live out these truths authentically ? Sabbath Rest will examine both a biblical grounding and its practical application . You ’ ll hear from voices across the church spectrum plus our regular columnists , including Helen Paynter on preaching the OT , Ian Paul bringing his insights across scripture , and James Catford on Sabbath rest in the Public Square .
