LWPHomes is a charity which is close to the hearts of some long-
standing LWPT supporters, as the two charities were historically
linked. There are three Westerley Care Homes across the country - all
run by LWPHomes. To find out more about the homes, you can visit
their website: www.lwphomes.org.uk
A new look for LWPHomes
LWPHomes has recently been rebranded to highlight the services they
provide. The new logo not only incorporates the existing service of Christian
residential care, but also encapsulates the vision of the further services that
LWPHomes will be providing, such as assisted living and domiciliary care.
LWPHomes supports people in their later years that would like to live within
an active Christian community.
Iris Reynolds
Iris Reynolds originally lived in Norfolk
where she devoted her life to caring for her
parents. She was also devoted to the
Methodist Church and became a Local
Preacher in 1951. When her parents passed
in 1985 Iris moved to Westerley Westcliff-
on-Sea.
Sadly, Iris was diagnosed with breast cancer
in 2008 and suffered from depression as a
result. The staff at Westerley Westcliff-on-
Sea loved and cared for Iris until she went
to be with the Lord just before Christmas
2016.
The management at Westerley Westcliff-on-Sea would like to publicly
thank the dedicated staff who did such a phenomenal job in caring for Iris
while she was a resident at the home.
