Discover LWPT ’ s plans for the year ahead
As the new Chief Executive of LWPT , last year was a time for learning about the organisation , understanding what it stands for , who it represents and what it endeavours to achieve , with the aim of putting together a plan for future development and long-term sustainability .
I spent a lot of time consulting with staff and trustees for their thoughts on the organisation and when opportunities arose , talked to our members , donors and supporters to gain their feedback . We ’ re now at the point of starting to put our development plan into action which will , of course , mean facing various challenges in the coming months , answering many questions and solving quite a few problems .
Long-term support for LWPT is one of the key issues we ’ ll be addressing . Many of our supporters , like yourself , have been with us , not just for a few years but for decades , and it ’ s only been through your valuable support that LWPT has maintained its role as a support ministry helping others to spread the word of God .
But I believe that there is still a significant need for a ministry that helps those who are keen on sharing God ’ s word in a variety of settings . Whether it ’ s from the pulpit , the house group leadership , online video talks , church worship leading or simply disciple-making , God still wants His people to use His word effectively .

As part of this effort we ’ ll be reaching out specifically to younger audiences , engaging with colleges , student preachers and those starting careers in the church . Whether they be lay or clerical Christians , we want to equip people for what God is calling them to be through our 3 ministries of preaching , resources and scholarship grants . continued on page 3
