Nebulae are basically clouds of dust and other gases in the universe. A nebula can eventually start clumping into a very large cloud that may be able to form stars. There are many different types of nebulae. The most common kind of nebulae are commonly known as diffuse nebulae. These nebulae have no boundaries. They are large clouds with forming stars inside. Another kind of nebulae is a planetary nebulae. Planetary nebulae are nebulae that surround stars that have recently become white dwarfs. In addition to these types of nebulae, there are protoplanetary nebulae. A star will create a protoplanetary nebula at a certain point in its lifetime, when it is transitioning from one phase to another near the end of its life. Lastly, there are supernova remnants. These are nebulae created when a star with a high mass explodes, causing a supernova. They are classified as special kinds of diffuse nebulae.
Outer Space
Outer space is a fascinating subject. It is the space between celestial bodies (the Earth, the sun, stars, planets, etc.), and is also part of the universe. It is full of astounding objects that are visually appealing: these include nebulae, galaxies, and protoplanetary discs. Many of these astronomical objects are colourful and really stand out against the darkness of space.
