Why Voltio?

Since the beginning of time, the human being has sought to develop in their environment, find alternative energy and food for survival, this has been achieved thanks to our understanding and as the years go by, our scientific and technological development also advances. This time we will discuss about an Italian physicist, to whom we owe the electromotive force measurement unit, we are talking about Alessandro Volta.

His life began on February 18, 1745, in Italy, from an early age, he was attracted by physics, of which he stood out in 1775 with his first invention related to electricity, the electrophores.

In 1778 he devoted himself to chemistry, thus discovering methane gas, two years later the electric current was discovered through an experiment by Luigi Galvani, friend of Volta, where he connected two metals to a muscle of a frog. Volta, interested in the discovery, began his experiments using metals, discovering that the frog's muscle was not necessary to produce electric current. In his experiment he managed to notice the existence of an imbalance that gave him the name of "tension" between metals, which made him try to multiply this "tension" by drivers in contact.

With the help of previously performed experiments, I achieved the creation of an electric battery in 1800.
