Promoting almond careers in September and beyond

The ABA’ s efforts to promote the almond industry are ongoing. This month Industry Development Officer – Sustainability Ella Henson attended Urrbrae Agricultura High School’ s Agriculture Careers Expo. The University of Adelaide’ s first year ag science students will visit Century Orchards later this month as part of a trip to the Riverland. Thanks to sponsorship from Syngenta, up to five university students will be invited to attend the Australian Almonds Research and Development forum in Robinvale next month. The ABA has been collecting the names of students who are interested in work placement opportunities and internships. Please email communications @ australianalmonds. com. au if you have a suitable role for a graduate or would be interested in hosting a student placement.
