He declared himself an atheist with a sense of enormous spirituality and every day played with the riddle he frequently mentioned: Good God. For this reason perhaps he had joined the group of Quantum artists for years, who knows if one day from the energies he would be able to understand how to give meaning to the life of his hominids.
However, his latest works have become very disturbing, the transference between human and inhuman was merging into his own image. THE DREAM OF BEING ABLE TO GIVE LIFE was materializing in his own life with art.
His video performances on his deathbed are emblematic and extraordinary, which I personally consider his masterpiece. .. the irony and the imminent end met in the sentence he blew like a coronavirus bellows through the mask:
“I'm Gabriele Cavagna Director of the Fantastic Art Department ....” etc ..
We hope that from that museum beyond life will come, quantically, other amazing inventions of his and that he will finally be able to meet that Good God who had sought so much, as a great atheist and rational artist ... Franco
