The somewhat provocative originality of that text stimulated a serious discussion about the painful state in which poetry is concerned today. The poetic world usually hardly addresses the real problems of society. Poetry is an important synthesis of the soul, and therefore must present the world around us even with metaphors and paradoxes. Cavagna argued that there must be close contact between poetry, art and life; as well as a strong link between poetry and society, otherwise art and poetry have no meaning: they die. A true poet is a liberating force, which breaks the habits of conformists, opportunists, right-thinking people and conservatives. We faced the problem of the fraying of interpersonal relationships, of the hectic, absurd and meaningless life that we live every day. If the poet speaks in paradoxes, the reader must accept the incredible things he says, the suspension of rationality; because reality itself is often very bizarre.

The true poet always puts himself on the line, even at the risk of that tragic isolation that strikes those who seek the truth. It goes without saying that we agreed perfectly. Gabriele was very attentive to news, available, to all the possibilities of spreading the poetic message. In fact, when Roberto Denti involved him in quantum art, he spoke to me enthusiastically about it, so we willingly agreed, even with the awareness that sooner or later quantum physics, which is the new poetry, will explain to us how and where science will save us ... Together we participated in the many events planned by Roberto. Very interesting, of international scope, those that took place at the Palazzina Liberty in Milan. Gabriele not only had an inventiveness and an exceptional poetic mastery, but above all, a human vision, "too human", of the world.

Returning to the poem "THE IMMORTAL", when the old lady of whom the poem speaks, presented him with the colorful coronavirus dress (similar to his suggestive "creations" elaborated on the computer) he, always available, no, did not say who didn't have time ...
