What is Quantum Art

Quantum Art is defined by Roberto Denti in his 2008 Manifesto pasted behind the painting entitled "If Giovanni Verga returned to Milan he would find the multiplicity of communication spaces", on permanent display at the Verghiano Imaginary Museum in Vizzini , Province of Catania.

The author states that "the main themes of quantum art are the expression of cultural changes, which reflect the synthesis of art and science on a global level, the creation of prerequisites for a vision of an innovative world aimed at the formation of new models of life, new social relationships in full agreement with the latest discoveries of quantum mechanics and in full respect of biodiversity and of all life ".

Quantum physics has revolutionized the concept of classical cause and effect physics, for which every observable phenomenon is the cause of an earlier process; quantum physics has shown that (scientific) observation modifies the behavior of light, that all matter is composed of forces that work together constructively to form everything we see. These latter concepts are the basis of Quantum Art. International collaboration between peoples is essential to make the cognitive system evolve, to achieve harmony in social, economic, political and cultural relationships, in full respect of the habits and beliefs of all the peoples of the planet Earth.

For these reasons Roberto Denti founded these Quantum Art groups: in 2010 he founded QAGI Quantum Art Group Italy. In 2011, his project "Quantum Art and Science for a New Renaissance" won the "Italy of Innovators" Award from the Presidency of the Italian Council of Ministers in the field of art and communication. In 2012 QAGI became International and he visited China with the delegation of the Italian government: he visited the cities of Shanghai, Nankino, Suzhou and in 2012 he gave a lecture at the Souzhou University of Art. In the previous and subsequent years he has lectured at the universities of Milan and Pavia, several times on the subject of Quantum Art. In 2017 Roberto Denti founded MAQ Movimento Arte Quantistica and in 2020 the International Academy MAQ-IAMAQ was born.
