Every Queen has things that are a necessity for success in her life. Building an empire is a lot of work and one thing that I have learned is that I can’t do it on my own. Another lesson has been that I can’t pour from an empty cup. So, I’d like to share with you some top necessities that I think every Queen needs in order to build a successful legacy.
1. A Tribe-In my opinion, every Queen is only as successful as the tribe of women that she has behind or with her. There is great value in having a tribe of other Queens you can depend on as a support system and a network. We all need encouragement from time to time and it can be a lonely world at the top if you let it be. Leverage the connections you have with other Queens. It will be of mutual benefit. A Queen loses nothing from uplifting, supporting, and helping another Queen.
2. A Vision Board-Every Queen needs a vision and a vision board. It is helpful to see your vision mapped out. It can keep you focused on your dreams and your goals. Habakkuk 2:2 urges us to write the vision and make it plain! Write your vision and give God something to bless! A Queen without a vision will lose her head!
3. Time to Refill Your Cup-As I said earlier, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Every Queen needs to set aside time to focus on herself and recharge her batteries. Take time out for yourself. It is a must if you want to continue to be able to help others. Self-care and self-love is essential. Sometimes we can feel guilty about taking care of us, but we shouldn’t. We can’t be the powerful Queens our families have come to know and love if we don’t take the time to re-fill our cup. It’s okay to love on you!
4. A Relationship with God- This is the most important necessity. Nothing is possible without God,
