The group originally grew from a few friends that liked to talk a lil sh & ^ on-line and share articles of interest , to a community of sports fans that include current and former NBA players , journalists , Knowledgeable fans , hard core haters and everything else you can think of .

I got 6 : Imari Sawyer is the best of the best I ’ ve ever faced . Will Bynum is a close 2rd in the best of the best I ’ ve faced David Bailey was a problem ! Big shot maker and 4th quarter type of player Sean Dockery had defense Theo Williams was a pest . He just made it hard for you to score Pierre Pierce was long and we had lots of battles in the projects HOW WAS IT PLAYING FOR DUNBAR COACH MIKEL ?
He was a disciplinarian . Taught us the value of being at school on time and staying in shape . He taught us how to be a better man . That was his main mission . Basketball wasn ’ t as big as his disciplinary lessons . HOW WAS IT AT WYOMING UNIVERSITY ? No distractions . I started my freshman year and receive Freshman of the year in the Mountain West Conference . Started all 4 years at Wyoming and was first team All Conference twice my junior and Senior year . I also graduated in 3 years at Wyoming . So it was great ! AFTER COLLEGE ? I got invited both NBA Combines and got to workout for a few NBA teams . Then played 9 years overseas in Europe , Germany , Poland , and France . I also played in the D-League for a year and I also went on a couple of Pro tours to China . So the ball has truly been a blessing to me . CURRENTLY WHAT DO YOU DO ? I work for the NBPA ( National Basketball Players Association ). I also started up my own Sports Management company called ‘ SSM ’ ( Straight Sports Management ). I ’ m sending 10 guys on a 20 day tour in April of 2017 through China . It ’ s been all a blessing for me . GIVE A POINT GUARD A PIECE OF ADVICE ? Don ’ t dribble too-much . You can get a lot done by getting the ball out of your hands quicker . And he a floor leader while playing the point and just don ’ t play the point because of your height . Think the game through as a floor leader . ANY LAST WORDS FOR THE CHICAGO BASKETBALL COMMUNITY ? Thank you all for what you instilled in me . We like a fraternity . I ’ m always looking for who got next in Chicago no matter where I ’ m at . It ’ s in my blood to keep up with basketball in Chicago . And when we see each other out , if he ’ s a ball player .... We give each other that respect in a sense . Because of our connection to Chicago basketball .
