Introduction
Following the success of the Summer Fun Brochure in recent years, the Children and Young People’s Trust are pleased to be able to produce
the booklet again this year. This helpful guide is packed full of summer fun activities which are sure to keep you happy and entertained over
the summer holidays.
Hyndburn’s Children & Young People’s Trust works closely with our partners and local agencies to ensure that the best services are available
for our children, young people and families. We look at the issues affecting young people in our Borough and work to make sure young people’s
voices are heard. For more information about what we do please see http://www.lancashirechildrenstrust.org.uk/district/
Wishing you a happy and safe summer break.
Best Wishes,

Parents and carers are advised to contact individual providers directly to assess whether specific activities are
accessible for children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities. Whilst providers would wish to be
inclusive, it is important that they should be made aware of the nature of any additional needs and/or disabilities so
that appropriate support can be put in place to enable the child or young person to participate.
