The role of water quality in hydrogen production technologies
It is well known that high-purity water is the most important raw material for hydrogen production . However , this term is very general and simplified because several water treatment steps , involving different water qualities , are involved in the hydrogen production process , running concurrently . What are these processes ? Which water qualities are we discussing ? What about secondary contamination and the proper selection of materials ? And do not forget about start-up and long-term maintenance issues .
