Tolerance. Sounds familiar? :P What does it mean? It means that
when you say something which differs slightly, or grossly, from
what I've been taught and what I imbibed as I grew up, I will have
the power and conscience to hear you out and introspectively
question my well established ideas despite years of cortical con-
ditioning and not shun you just because you've said something
that I was oblivious to or something that I probably perceived to
be a taboo. Yes, that is what tolerance means and it's a two-way
road. It's a process, rather than a trait, of continuously challenging
your acquired ideas as and when you are introduced to newer
ones.
