Ÿ We also had the screening of T20 World Cup �nal in our very own JLN Auditorium.
Ÿ �e month also saw ' Gladius ' – All Delhi Inter Collegiate Sports Fest grow leaps and bounds with the highest participation ever.
Ÿ We started our Gym nighters, in addition to regular Lit and Acad nighters, with the Futsal tournament.
Ÿ But the month was far from over as we had our ' Catalyst '- the Medical Expo, where we reiterated our commitment to PARIVARTAN, our charity wing. �e event was received with great enthusiasm by school students of Delhi.

�e �erce storm of the night of May 23 uprooted our Proud heritage, the AIIMSonians ' tree. After this unfortunate incident, we persuaded the administration to replant another tree as the AIIMSonians ' tree and the same was later accomplished successfully.
Ÿ Not a great month for us as the administration decided to“ ban” PULSE.

With the continuing apathy of administration towards student community reaching its peak, it was time to strike back. August and early half of September was tumultuous with administration and Students’ Union locking horns with each other. �e demands of SU included- reinstatement of AIIMSonian preference in PG, allotment of rooms for house job, research and clinical elective permission, dealing with the dog and monkey menace in campus, revoking the“ ban” on PULSE, reinstatement of Gym grant and the issue of insult and derogatory treatment towards students. Issue of rooms for house job was immediately settled and we lost out on research and clinical electives because of“ adamant” and“ incorrigible” stand of a few people. Only partial solution to dog and monkey menace was found. Reinstatement of Gymkhana grant was accepted and in the issue regarding insult to students a formal apology and a promise not to repeat the same.
Ÿ �e drama regarding Pulse continued until the morning of September 16. Permission for Pulse was granted subject to certain conditions.
