Sibongile Sibya
Sibongile Sibiya (SimplySibo) is the Founder of Khuthatso Community
Development (KCD) that is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She
studied Electrical Engineering at Texas Southern University, United States
in 1997.

She is a counterpart to the innovative Editor-in-Chief Ms. Huniie Parker,
responsible for helping manage the magazine, synthesizing editorial
direction and finding the news. She has her own article called ‘’Chitchat
with SimplySibo’’ at Hanging with Huniie where she covers African
Art/Artists both local and abroad.
She joined JustUs Media as a freelance Journalist in 2013 covering Sports
& Politics. She has been involved in several projects around Africa
including Youthzones, Imbumba Foundation, Keep Girls In School
Campaign and Sonke Gender Justice. She was a COO for ReaderWorld
which is a non-profit company that is promoting a culture of reading. She
has been involved with Freedom Primary School in Freedom Park Soweto
for Mandela Day and as a Programme Director for grade 6 Farewell
Graduation. She has also done projects with Department of Community
Safety. She has been a guest speaker for Lady Leader, I am Woman and
several events.
She is a Motivational Speaker, and a mentor for Ladies Under
Construction SA. She believes in the power of working with youth
empowering, mentoring and helping them reach higher. She has been
featured on IDENTITY Television Show on SABC in South Africa as a
community hero.
Sibongile continues to progress her passion for writing and her
enthusiasm for getting a job well done.
