Growing up she hated homework until she moved to Atlanta to live with her aunt. Kosha saw a beautiful sitting room with a TV for the Soap Operas that her aunt loved so much. But, the thing that caught Kosha's eye was the bookshelf she quickly decided to stay away from. Days later over dinner her aunt propositioned her to read three books to get anything she wanted. Kosha completed that task and after reading "A Day Late And A Dollar Short" by Terry McMillan she was a die hard reader. She tried her hand at writing but decided that reading was her true love. Years later as an adult she started using social media to meet her favorite authors and interact with other readers. As she shared their work several began to inquire about using her as a Promoter for them. For her the love of reading is like a breath of fresh air. She has run across a few authors who have books out that no one has ever heard of because they were either independent with no direction on how to gain readers. Without #free being somewhere or with a small publication company and wasn't getting the recognition they deserved with QUALITY work on their hands. After being in so many social media groups and seeing authors almost give there books away just to get a reader to give them a chance, she sat back thinking and watching. The wheels in her head started turning. She confided in her husband and a few author friends her thoughts. They each encouraged her to go for it. With her love for reading, they knew she was in her element to peruse a dream doing something she enjoyed. Only thing was, she didn't know where to begin. Kosha decided she would reach out to a friend Indie Love, who is a promoter in the business, who could possibly teach her the Indie Author Promo Business. So Kosha sets out to learn the the business. She interned at Indie Love Promotions and after a very short time was told of her talent and value by Indie and authors who saw her drive. This prompted her to step out and start Colors of Struggle Promotions. • • • • • • • • • • She offers social media blasts, host events, promotional management and much more.
