Clear close-by vegetation
Replace the filters
It is recommended to have a change of filters at least every month.
However if your system has a permanent filter cleaning it is the only
solution. Moreover the clearer the filters are the better the flow air
and consequently the lower the probability of a fault.
Regular tune-ups
Vegetation, bushes and trees close to the condenser and compressor
should be removed. Normally these equipments require sufficient
airflow. Hence to avoid overheating and irregular airflow thus the
vegetation has to be cleared.
It is recommended to have an annual tuning of your system. Moreover
it is the best maintenance procedure that highly reduces the chances
of any faults or possible problems. Thus you avoid a repair of you HVAC
system.
Keep ducts clean
Regular cleaning of the duct will ensure that the repairs have been
pushed further ahead in time. Dust and debris that clog the system are
the main reasons that result to faults and expensive power usage.
