Have you always wanted to be in education? What made you decide that was going to be your occupation?
I was always interested in the arts, and when the art teacher position at HHS came available, I thought about the fond memories I had in my art classes growing up. I remember thinking if this was meant to be I would get hired. I left the interview with the position, and the rest is history. I fell in love with the kids and Huntsville High School and stayed for 14 years
What are some accomplishment in life?
Having two wonderful children and a husband I am very proud of. We believe in serving the community of Huntsville, because this is our home and we have wonderful memories here. I am proud of the work and relationships I have built with many students and now their children at Scott Johnson. I am proud of the people of Huntsville and my staff who give their very best to our children every day. The best accomplishments are
