Hornet Cheer
The Huntsville High School cheer team competed this past weekend at the 5A D2 UIL Spirit State Championships in Fort Worth , TX . They competed against 70 teams in their division .
The HHS team placed 23rd overall . Their band chant performance placed 6th in the state with one of the highest scores the team has ever received .
The coaching staff is proud of the team and the work and dedication they have put in this past season for this moment . The program is continuing to grow and move in the right direction to become one of the top teams in the state .
The HHS cheer team will continue putting in the work this week as they prepare for NCA Nationals in Dallas , TX at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Center on January 21st and 22nd .
