October 3
Fair on the Square
This annual event offers fun, food and adventure.
Over 350 vendors set up shop in the
historic downtown district selling many unique
items, some hand crafted by local artisans.
Jewelry, home décor, apparel and many more
treasures can be found by both vendors and the
merchants on the downtown square.
October 9-11
The Company Presents: The Miracle
Worker
The local community theater production will
present The Miracle Worker, a three-act play
by William Gibson adapted from his 1957
Playhouse 90 teleplay of the same name. It was
based on Helen Keller’s 1903 autobiography
“The Story of My Life.”
October 16
Johnny Lee at Old Town
The American-Country singer will take the stage
at Old Town Theatre. His 1980 single “Lookin’ for
Love” became a crossover hit, spending three
weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard country singles.
October 31
Scare on the Square
Scare on the Square takes place each Halloween
in Downtown Huntsville. The festival features
carnival themed games, giveaways, crafts and
trick-or-treating for all ages. If that is not enough
for you, dress in your best Halloween costume to
be entered into the costume contest.
