September 11 11th annual Divas Night The ladies-only night out, hosted by the Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce, includes food, beverage, photos and opportunity for door prizes with great shopping specials. The first 350 ladies through the door will get a swag bag. September 11 Moe Bandy at Old Town Marion Franklin “Moe” Bandy, Jr., an American country music singer, will grace the stage of Old Town Theatre. He was most popular during the 1970s, when he had several hit songs, both alone and with his singing partner, Joe Stampley. September 12 HEARTS Muster Festival The annual family-friendly event honors our service members, veterans, first responders and correctional staff. There will be interactive activities at both the H.E.A.R.T.S. Veterans Museum and the neighboring Texas Prison Museum. Come out and see military vehicles, a car show, a motorcycle ride-in by the American Legion, bounce houses and more. Andy Gross at Old Town The former American former professional racquetball player and now touring comedian, ventriloquist, magician and illusionist will take the stage at the historic Old Town Theatre. Andy Gross is known for his television and film appearances and for his live touring show. September 18 Gene Watson at Old Town Gary Watson, an American country singer, will take the stage at Old Town Theatre. He is most famous for his 1975 hit “Love in the Hot Afternoon,” his 1981 No. 1 hit “Fourteen Carat Mind,” and his signature 1979 song “Farewell Party.” September 25 The Highwaymen: Live at Old Town The impersonating group will spotlight music from four of country music’s biggest artists, who pioneered the outlaw country subgenre. September 27 Texas 10 Series The 10 Mile race is the marquee distance of the Texas10 Series. Texas10 Huntsville course is set to traverse the streets of Sam Houston State University and will challenge runners with some inclines but be very rewarding when finished.
