“We are training on a nearly
constant basis and keeping up
with state regulations and testing,”
Mathis said. “It’s safe to say that our
guys keep busy.”
The good thing for Huntsville
residents, is that the fire chief is in it
for the long haul.
“The city of Huntsville is an
awesome organization with some
really good benefits. They take care
of their employees and it’s been a
pleasure for me to work here as long
as I have. I’m one of those who sign
on and stick with it. This is where I
want to be.”
