H-E-B leader has quickly become
the heartbeat of Huntsville
The 2020 Citizen of the Year, Vickie McKenzie, may be new to Huntsville, having called it
home for just three years, though she has already woven herself into the fabric of the community
through her dedication to giving back.
“I do things just because it feels right, I don’t do it for a title, but to know that my heart
is validated, that people see what my heart really desires in life – that means the most to
me,” she said.
