not running or building up their business , they enjoy family time with their three children , Shelby , Morgan and son , Mark . They also enjoy fishing , hunting , gardening and baking .
Southwood Restaurant is BYOB , and has limited hours of operations during the week . They offer a full menu starting with spicy treats like boudain balls and ending with made from scratch desserts .
Unfortunately , due to the demand with the desserts , they always run out fast .
Beginning May 31 , 2024 , Southwood Restaurant will temporarily close their doors to remodel after the storm and upgrade their service and menu . After they reopen , they will continue to be a BYOB establishment , continue to provide the same excellent customer service , fresh food and desserts , but hope to expand and add to their menu . They will still be a small restaurant and will still encourage guests to make reservations or take advantage of their to-go options .
Shanna states , “ she enjoys cooking and enjoys sharing her talent with the community .” She is excited about the changes of the restaurant and the additional services her and her family will be able to offer with the addition of the Venue , Taxidermy and Wild Game Processing Center they are completing .
