Ann ’ s son , Todd Buckner , joined seven years later and has been there for 39 years repairing jewelry . This past June 2022 , Stacy Buckner added her own efforts to the team .
“ My dad passed away 31 years ago ; I know he would be so proud of the success that continues ,” said Stacy Buckner .
The shop has been located in Midway Plaza on University Avenue since 1979 . A white sign with bold , black letters sits atop the building and reads “ Buckner ’ s Watch and Jewelry Repair ” proudly .
“ We have been blessed with some of the most wonderful and faithful customers that any business could ever hope to serve ,” said Ann Buckner McDuffie .
The business can be seen like a family tree and the city of Huntsville is thankful they planted their roots here .
