2. You did bad on a test and failed it. You decide to tell your parents, how do they react?

A) They ask me to do better but I don't listen because school isn't important to me.

3. Your parents tell you they're going to be out for a few days and give you permission to invite a few friends over and it ends up with a big party. Eve though you cleaned everything, when they return they find out you made a party and lied to them, what do they tell you?

A) I do what I want in my house, if want to have a party I will have one and my parents can't tell me no.

B) They ground me for a long time without giving me a chance to explain or defend myself.

C) They get upset I lied to them but listen to me and recognize I'm acting mature and responsible by admitting my mistakes and cleaning up the mess and make me promise I won't do it again without their permission.

D) The don't really notice I had a party, and if they did they wouldn't really care.

Laissez-faire! This means your parents aren't really that controlling but that isn't always a good thing, try doing what your parents ask you to do. They know what's best for you.

Authoritative! Your parents are understanding but also know when to be direct and controlling. Having authoritative parents is the best kind of parents you can ask for so be grateful.

authoritatian. Your parents can be more conrolling than other parents but that's sometimes a good thing that doesn't mean they don't love you. They just want what's best for you.

neglecting. You don't really have a relationship with your parents and you might feel rejected, try talking to them and let them know how you feel.
