Finally, by the year of Mexico’s Independence in the 19th century, science was very advanced and had much of the data that we know now. As we said before, each era of time influenced the next and passed on their information in order to keep expanding the field of science and medicine. We now know that the stomach is a muscular organ that’s located at the left side of the abdomen. It receives food from the esophagus, and then the food enters the stomach through a valve called the lower .
We concluded that the stomach was viewed by scientists and society pretty much the same during the Scientific Revolution, Industrial Revolution, and the Mexican Independence as we see it now. All the functions of the stomach have remained the same since a very long time ago. During the Scientific Revolution, people were very curious about learning so the study of the human anatomy progressed. The Industrial Revolution was a very good time for people, because with the Agricultural Revolution, they had more food supply and people were better nourished.. Finally, before the Mexican Independence, Mexico progressed in anatomy, but after the War, this science ended. During all this years, there was a lot of progress in anatomy, more machinery was available and scientists could learn more things about the stomach and its functions.
