Great Britain, men began to create more machines and factories in order to improve the economy and to discover new methods on the crops, textiles and manufactured goods. On the other hand the period of Mexico´s Independence occurred during the 19th century, the creoles wanted independence from the Spaniards; the most important character was Miguel Hidalgo. On September 16, 1810, Hidalgo and Allende began the journey to the town of Dolores and they were executed. Jose María Morelos took up arms, and on September 27,1821, at the treaty of Córdova, Mexico was recognized as an independent nation

.So we can say that in the three periods people wanted to be better, and to have more things that would benefit them and the place they lived in. They wanted to improve in every aspect they could.

The stomach during the Scientific Revolution was viewed as a muscular organ, and it was located at the left side of the abdomen. In Europe new ideas arose and new discovering took place; the people from the Scientific Revolution were the first ones to study the stomach when Andreas Vesalius started to study and spreading his knowledge about the anatomy of the human body. Thanks to this revolution people knew that the food in the process of digestion begins in the stomach, where the food starts to get broken into simpler molecules for the body´s use.

The stomach at the same time takes a very important role in the immune system, because it helps fight infections that occur in it. During the Industrial Revolution, more food supply came, and people were better fed, but the food was not as great. The people by then were sure that the stomach digested the food that they ingested and that illness and sickness could now be healed because of newly creations of medicine. Medicine in America during the early 19th century was characterized by the idea of how bodies interacted with their surroundings.
