Angie Ngoc Nguyen
Master of International Business, 2014
I attended Hult Shanghai for the first eight months then rotated to San Francisco. I went back to Vietnam after graduation. I love San Francisco, but I do believe Asia is the most challenging place that can help me develop my career. I am a Client Solutions Manager at Vsource, a talent source company, and I have been working with top companies such as Apple, Amazon, and Activision.
Data becomes more important in every industry, especially in Recruiting. Working as a Client Solutions Manager, I always need to learn more about the new trends. My company also builds a Talent Analytics Lab, where all the Data Scientists work on how to improve the clients’ recruiting strategy. Therefore, I selected the Big Data Analytics course.
The course took place in Shanghai and was spread over four full days. It was very short but gave me some good ideas about what I should do to analyze Big Data. During the course, I had a chance to meet with current students as well as some former classmates at Hult Shanghai. It was a very nice experience, and I’ ve already recommended a lot of alumni to participate in the program next year.
Auxi Heredia Ortiz
Master of Business Administration, 2014
I took the Ashridge Summer Programs in 2015 and 2016 since graduating from Hult. The courses offered at Ashridge are Change Management and Leading in a VUCA World.
The Lifelong Learning Opportunities program provides me the opportunity to stay up-to-date in subjects that interest me. Also, it helps me to stay in touch with both alumni and the school, as well as meeting with new interesting people from different backgrounds and age ranges. It helps me to disconnect with my day-to-day job, reconnect with the rest of the world, and reflect about taking new paths or staying where I am currently. Interacting with other alumni provides me a good benchmark when it comes to potential career paths to pursue.
The best parts of the Ashridge Summer Program are the great and interesting people, the wonderful location, the fantastic services and catering, and the course itself. The course is like a crash course completed in a weekend and it has provided me a reasonably good overview of the topic. I have already recommended the experience to other colleagues. It is totally worth it.
