After Gabby Douglas took
home the gold in the Women’s
All-Around Gymnastics
competition, Fox News still
found something to be unhappy
about in the performance.
Alisyn Camerota, a guest host
on America Live, questioned
Douglas’ patriotism—because
she wore a pink leotard. “You
know, Gabby had that great
moment, and everyone was so
excited, and she’s in hot pink—
and that’s her prerogative,” she
said. Camerota’s guest, Sirius/
XM radio host David Webb,
described that prerogative as
a “kind of soft anti-American
feeling that Americans can’t
show their exceptionalism.”
