Enter 5 POINTERS ANTI-GAY BILL KILLED An anti-gay bill that passed the Kansas House of Representatives is dead in the state Senate, the head of the Senate committee that would have reviewed the bill told the Associated Press Tuesday. The bill would have allowed any individual, group or business to refuse to provide goods, services, accommodations or employment benefits related to the recognition of celebration of same-sex couples on the basis of religious beliefs. Opponents said the bill was far too broad and would allow for discrimination against gays and lesbians in the state.
