It’s a tough act to follow, but their first single, “Home,” promises more of the same (in a good way). The beloved psychedelic rockers return after 2010’s lukewarmly received Congratulations (which, for the record, this listener liked). Aside from the normal anticipation comes some extra pressure: that — as a self-titled third record — some sort of statement will be made. The rapper everyone loves to hate is back with a new album that’s sure to provoke, not least of which because of his guest vocalist: late-singer Aaliyah.
